Crazy Beautiful Life

Good morning!

Where to start! Life has been overwhelmingly busy. I feel a bit like Dorie in "Finding Nemo" (one of my all time favorite kid's movies) "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming..." ok, I'll stop text singing to all of you now. I'm sure you're all secretly saying THANK YOU!

School started back 3 weeks ago and I'm RUNNING to keep up this semester. I'm already facing 2 midterms. One was take home and I plan to finish that one today and then find time somewhere over the weekend to study for the other.

I joined a young women's Bible study at my church called "Flourish". We meet every Tuesday night at 7:00. It's been uplifting and a challenge to me already.

I moved to a new apartment much closer to work, school, and church the weekend before classes started. Yes, I was completely unpacked within 48 hrs. of moving in! I now find myself sleeping in, leaving for work at 8 am, a mile away from church and loving this new page in life. Being so close to everything makes me feel like a new person.

Tomorrow I'm headed to Alabama for a friend's wedding. It has been so sweet to watch Caleb and Anna grow together and I'm so happy to be able to share in their special day. I'd like to claim a little bit of credit for him falling in love. My dear friend, Aimee and I decided that Caleb was just too sweet, Godly, and wonderful of a man to stay single. So we contrived a plan to find him a wife. Between the 2 of us we purchased a "Bride Troll" and presented it to him in his office one day. He looked rather amused at his two well meaning friends... we parted ways and only months later he met Anna and fell in love!!! The lucky troll still has residence in his desk drawer and I've informed him that after they are back from their honeymoon, I'm stopping in to reclaim the doll for myself. ;)

Super Bowl = Super Awesome for me this year! My church hosted a SB party for middle/highschool. We had about 160 kids and during half time we had live performers come in and a gospel presentation. It wasn't planned for me to work the counseling room, but at the last minute I got pulled in and had the blessing of leading a young highschool girl to Christ!

So, while life may seem to be pretty crazy it's also absolutely beautiful! A year that is off to a great start with an Awesome God! What more could you ask for?
