I Believed in Fairy Tales

Once upon a time.....

...when I was very little girl, I heard the story "The Frog Prince" and believed it was true. I remember thinking how romantic it was (I was probably 4 or 5) and wondered if I kissed a frog would he turn into a Prince too. So, I went out into our backyard, where I knew I'd find a toad, picked him up and gave him a kiss smack on the top of his head. I was a very disappointed little girl when I quickly realized that a fairy tale is just that, a tale.
