Spontaneity
I'm not much of a planner. Once upon a time I was...but life is so much more adventurous when you just go with whatever is coming next. Thursday morning I was in the gym with a friend and she told me that the church ski trip had someone back out unexpectedly and now they are trying to find someone to fill her spot. I could go for only $200 round trip everything included. OH MY WORD!!! I felt like I'd just won the lottery. Colorado skiing has been on my bucket list for so long...I hurried to work and told my boss and she so very graciously agreed this was an opportunity that shouldn't be passed up.
So, today I'm scrambling around trying to pull myself together, get packed, and head to Colorado in the am for the next 5 days! I'll post pics and updates if I am able.
My otherwise quite and "boring" spring break just turned into something FANTASTIC! It's moments like this that feels very much like God is reminding me just how much he loves me!
