Urgent Prayer Request
I believe in the power of prayer. More than that, I believe in the power of the one we pray to. So, I am asking anyone who reads this blog to please stop for a moment and pray for a very dear family friend who was just diagnosed with Terminal Esophageal Cancer (Stage 4), and has a couple of months at the most, to live.
This has been a very unexpected blow to this precious family. I can't even tell you how broken my own heart is. This man (and his family) has been very instrumental in the shaping of my life from the time I was a young teen and into early adulthood. I have always looked up to them with a great respect for their love and dedication to the Lord.
I do not know if I will ever comprehend why these things happen in life, but I know the Lord has a plan and a purpose in all of this. To God be the glory in all things!
