Spurprises =)
Yes, I realize the title of this blog appears to be spelled wrong, however, I assure you it's intentional. I had meant to post this a couple weeks ago following my "Sigh, it's been a long week post" but simply never got around to it.
It was turning out to be a rough and LONG week. Shaun was gone for 4 days, then home over night and then headed out again for 4 more days. This all amounted up to a very depressed little me (yes, you may gag, mock, laugh, or say Aw) but it's true. I finished up work and headed to his house to let out the dog and feed him only to find a note on the kitchen table when I arrived. "Don't worry about Oscar for a minute, he'll be fine. Figure out this puzzle." Well, Shaun had created this little word puzzle with a clue in it. Each word was something from a date or a special moment we've shared and that clue lead to another word puzzle, then a picture on my camera, into the dining room where I found a clue that told me to go to the master closet. At this point, I'm completely puzzled and wondering what in the world he's up to! I open the doors into the Master and there's a note that says, "Keep going", then the bathroom door says, "Almost there" then the closet door, "Get ready!". I open the door and low and behold Shaun is sitting on the floor working on his laptop!!!
All I could say for the next several minutes is, "What are you doing here? You're supposed to be in DC! What? Why are you here? How did this happen?" His trip was canceled as he was waiting to board his plane, so he just came home and didn't tell me. All I can say is he took a horrible week and turned it into a wonderful spurprise!!!
