Double The Trouble, Double The Fun

35 years ago, my parents were pleasantly surprised with a double bundled blessing! Growing up with these two truly was double the trouble and double the fun. Nothing like these two getting into a giggle fit where no one else has any idea what is going on except that they are giggling so hard and something must have been hilarious!
I can't even begin to tell you the joy these two have brought to our family! They are truly special and well loved! Sherry & Amanda have been such a inspiration to me over the years. As a younger sister I've always looked up to them. When our Mom passed away, they stepped up to fill in the gap for me. They have been there for me through thick and thin, good times and bad, supported me, loved me, listened to my endless ramblings and always have incredible advice. I really couldn't have asked for two better sisters and I know our family would never be complete without you both! I'm so proud of you! The wives and mothers you've turned out to be, the daughters, the sisters you are...you truly have blessed all those around you. Mom would be proud of who you both are, I know the rest of your family is!!!

Were your parents completely surprised by them? Could they tell they were having 2 beforehand? Sweet sisters, wish they were only 29 cause then I couldn't be almost 29 myself. Yikes! Thank goodness that's NEXT year. ;P
ReplyDeleteHaha! Jeni, my parents didn't know it was twins till about a few weeks before Mom gave birth. So, it was a rather big surprise. Mom didn't have time to make 2 dresses for then to come home from the hospital in, so Amanda's was just another little outfit she had. Still cute though!
