Day 2: My Husband

I am so very grateful for my husband. He is truly the most precious gift God has ever given me. I am constantly amazed at his selflessness and unconditional love towards me and everyone around him. I honestly don't think I have ever met a more genuine person. The man that everyone sees in public is the same man that I find behind closed doors every day. He encourages me to dream big dreams, chase after them and pour my heart into the things that matter to me. He leads strong, he is willing to make the tough decision, he is generous with his time and resources, he is caring and selfless, he is honest even at the risk of making me "mad" and I have the deepest respect for that. Just being with him makes me want to be more than I am and be the best person I can be. I honestly didn't know marriage could be this incredible. He lives up to the calling God placed on him to love his wife as Christ loved the church. It is difficult to explain, but I see Jesus through Shaun. He is truly my knight in shining armor and my Prince Charming.
